Girl Gotch Review and Giveaway! CLOSED

I Princess recently had the opportunity to review undies, now that she is potty trained, we received from Girl Gotch®. Girl Gotch® is the brainchild of Canadian mompreneur, Rebecca Winterhalt. We, Princess and I have been experimenting with various different sizes and styles of undies since she has been completely potty trained in mid-January/February. W have found that the sizes vary and some can be really tight. We went so far as to try a size 6 in one pair. I have found them to look uncomfortable because they look tight to me and when I asked Princess she responds with a nod. So when we received the Girl Gotch® undies, Princess eyes lit up with excitement as she gazed at the colours. She kept asking all day if she could put on the big girl panties...

Here is a bit about where Girl Gotch came from as per the website...
How it all began... If you would have told me a year ago that I would be designing and launching my own underwear line for little girls, I wouldn‘t have believed it, but here I am and I am so excited to share my products with you.

It all started in the summer of 2008. I was potty-training my daughter and was having a really hard time finding underwear that fit her. She seemed to always be pulling and adjusting and no matter what, they would “ride-up”. I tried everything, even buying size 5/6 panties for her (even though she was 2).
One afternoon, we were at my sister‘s house. My daughter and nephew were playing and were so wrapped up in their fun that my daughter had an accident. I didn‘t have a change of clothes, so I borrowed a pair of my nephew‘s gotch. I didn‘t think much of it at the time, but as the day went on I noticed that she wasn‘t complaining about her underwear hurting. I also watched her jump and play around and they stayed in place. The gotch covered her whole bum, which was something her panties never managed to do.
That got me to thinking...why don‘t they make gotch for girls? And so, Girl Gotch was born and that brings me to today. I have been working with designers and manufacturers to get what I believe are the best girl‘s underwear on the market!
This is what we received from Girl Gotch.
Aren't they just so cute...
Product to be Reviewed: 1 box or briefs and 1 box of boxers in size 4, Bright Vibrant Colour Combinations, size 4.
Briefs
Boxers

Princess' Review: Well, she loved the thought of having "big girl" panties...the colours were absolutely fabulous for her.  She is all about colour. We tried the briefs first. I was amazed at the soft material used after washing them. They became so soft. Princess loved them. We them tried the boxers, they became the softest cotton I ever felt. This is a bonus because most of the other undies she has are really thin and not soft after washing them. The boxers were the biggest hit. Princess called them her "shorts". She wanted to go the day with just them on...I had a difficult time getting her to put on her pants. Throughout the day I asked her if they were comfy and she would always reply "ummhummm" Not once on the days she wore Girl Gotch® did I see her grab at the panties, which on a typical day in her other undies she is grabbing at least 2 or 3 times. The leg bands were loose but not loose that they hung off but unlike the other typical panties dig in. The boxers were slightly loose but not by make but because of Princess' tiny frame. The waist band in both the briefs and boxers are wide and wrapped in the same material as the undies themselves, so they sit in place and don't roll like other undies.  I am really becoming a huge fan of Girl Gotch®. I wish they were available in Ladies' sizes.
We love Girl Gotch® undies! They are so cute and as Princess seems to feel more grown-up in them. They are confidence creating in both of us that Princess has control over her body because she hasn't had any accidents in them since we received them. Four thumbs up from us at the AM2CW home.
Side Note: I have plans to the boxes because of the design and magnets in the flap...my brain is working on a craft or two... so stay tuned ;)

I love the cool vibrant colors, but I'd probably order the confident whites in briefs just so they won't show through her clothing.
Thanks for the chance to win.
