My Review:
Lime Green
Anti-bottle
I received this cool shaped bag in the mail. I rinsed it out with soap and water, only after I could pry it out of the Princess' hands. She claimed it as soon as it came out of the envelope. We read the insert together and proceeded to try the rolling, folding and then we filled it. The Princess and the Cheeky Monkey played tug of war for a while then we filled it half full and froze it to see how it would work. In the morning The Princess was so excited to the thought of carrying around "her" own 'bag of water.' Cheeky Monkey was fascinated with the cold of the bag, he kept trying to feel it and would say "brrrrrrr." We then filled the rest of the way with water. All morning, we drank from the 'anti-bottle' and then we played squish the water.  At the end of the day, the Vapur anti-bottle was a hit with the kids. As I used the anti-bottle, I found it to be so convenient. I used the carabiner to attach it to everything, diaper bag, purse and stroller.  I was amazed at how the container could become so compact and be out of the way when I was finished with it. I am so for finding a way to be more enviro-friendly since I became a mom. This is a great product that could really make a big difference in all of our lives. The colour I used was lime green (as pictured above). I am really hoping it will be available in larger sizes. It does not give you the chance to get you 8 glasses of water a day. I also think Vapur should come out with a sleeve to keep it cold longer. My parents have the best tap water, even the bathroom tap taste the same as the tap in the kitchen. It tasted great in the Vapur anti-bottle. My dad thought it was a neat thing to have but he thought the size was not enough for him. I will definitely be looking for one for him at Christmas time. I really applaud Vapur for their strive to make a difference in the world when it comes to get plastic bottles of water use to decrease significantly.

It takes 17 million barrels of oil each year to make water bottles for the U.S. market(7). That would be enough oil to fuel 1.3 million cars for a year.

I learned that most water bottles are made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is a polymer derived from oil. I also didnt know that only 23% of water bottles are recycled- 38 billion are land filled each year. Recycle everyone, please!
